A big week for KOBs just before Christmas

New 1st XV Coach

Today we can announce our new 1st XV coach, Rohan Cranney. Rohan won 3 Barraclough Cup premierships in the late 70s and early 80s with KOBs. He returns to Sydney from Aubury and brings a wealth of coaching experience from Aubury, Southern Inland and Brumbies junior teams to the club. He has some exciting ideas for the club is looking forward to getting stuck into training early in the New Year so stay posted for times and dates.

Re-signing with the AYH

After a great first season partnership with the Australian Youth Hotel in Glebe, today we agreed to continue this relationship through 2014. We are looking to build the strong foundation we built with the pub in 2013 and hope the club will support us in this endeavour… Who doesn’t love a few beers and a great feed?!

Subbies Colts Sevens Squad Announced

The NSW Suburban Colts Sevens squad was announced today and I am proud to announce that Luke Rowntree was selected in the team. Toby Johnston also trialled and was unlucky to be overlooked. Our connection does not end there, with the coach/manager combination of Gerard and Brendan McLenaghan continuing and Tim Moule joining the team as Physio (and unofficial party liaison). Best of luck to all of the guys at the Queanbeyan Sevens Tournament on 8 February.
