It’s with great sadness to inform you that Scott Rudd (Ruddy) passed away peacefully yesterday morning surrounded by his family in the life house at RPA. Ruddy battled cancer for many years and didn’t take a backwards step till the end.
At KOB’s you could find Ruddy steaming down the wing one week, then play loose or tight head the following! He was a highly regarded member of the famous 4th-grade premiership side in 1994 and played over 150 games for the club in all grades. A valued member of the KOB’s committee he was always there to lend a hand or man the BBQ. He lead the social committee to organise our most successful gala ball in 2001 with over 600 people in attendance.
To quote David Lennox “a perfect friend and a true gentleman”. He will be greatly missed by all who came across his path, especially by his wife Jane, daughter Grace, son Sam and extended family.
